How many forums are we to have?

They seem to be springing up everywhere and then disappearing again.

What is going on behind the scenes?

Seems the other one was shut down due to abusive posts. I was a mod on the last one and up to the last time I logged in there was nothing I though was overly abusive, and the only mildly abusive ones were from a couple of idiots who weren't even Ryman fans. I don't know whether anything worse was posted since I last had a look but reference to Maidscum and Maidstone Parasites doesn't seem like a reason to shut a board down.

It's getting a bit ridiculous now. I don't mind arguments going on but some are just going totally OTT in their abuse. I won't be surprised if everything gets shut down and that is that. What moderator/admin would want to face litigation because someone is trying to liven up their life by being ludicrously abusive.

To whoever is mod on here please don't worry abut abuse to me. If it is too bad I would simply ask for said post to be removed or edited.

I think that if the forum gets used we should be able to keep it on the levels of banter. It does seem tehre is a lot of history with those involved in forums. Spread the forum link and lets make this the place to talk Ryman football. Just do not mention Margate's form.

I was pillioied on the old board yet most of the stuff I wrote about was Maidstone games. Unfortunately I do enjoy a good bicker so send the nutjobs my way and then enjoy your board
