No one stands out at this time, I suppose mathmatically Maidstone are favourites but they were so poor at Woodside that I can't see them doing well

We do seem to have got our act together a bit since then, KR. However, there have been some games where we haven't looked massively convincing.
What is going on at Worthing? I looked at the table the other day and was astounded at where you are in the table.

What's going on at Woodside? Now that's a hard one to answer. As is the case with many teams this year we veer from stupendously stylish and effective to awesomely bad, often within the same game. 2-0 up after 20mins then concede 5 goals to Fav, 1 down after 32 secs then win 4-1 away to Herne Bay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It seems our budget is £750 pw for all players coaches etc and some have had to leave due to cuts allied to a piss poor marketing strategy, hard financial times all round and a lot of competition in the Sussex area, it doesn't bode too wel for the future. Personally I can see us being on the fringe of a play off place only to do the usual and balls it up in the end, still mustn't grumble, I could have ended up being a Dartford fan

Being a Dartford fan . You are very lucky to be a rebel notter how badly they are playing ;D It's a shame that times are not so good because I quite liked watching games at Woodside when I lived near it in the late 90s. Do you still have the pre-season friendly against B&HA? I remember going to that one year and Worthing went 1-0 up after about 20 seconds (a very pacey dreadlocked winger scored) only to lose 5-1.

Got the friendly back this year and also played them last night in Sussex Senior Cup but lost 2-0
The winger was Ben Carrington who is a true Rebels legend and is now a professor in USA of sociology I believe
Is the Gallaher expandable as your crowds seem to be on the up and up?
Oh and I hear smoking is banned there, if so I doubt if I will go?

Ben Carrington, that's the boy! Don't worry about losing to Brighton 2-0. We lost 5-0 to them in our opening game.
The Gallagher can be expanded and I believe this has been thought about. I don't think it is likely to happen immediately.I think it would be wise to keep things as they are, as we are experiencing the honeymoon period at present. Maidstone is generally an apathetic town so don't be surprised to see crowds drop back to 1,000ish.
If you can get past the smoking thing (they do give you the chance to have a smoke if you want to) then don't forget you are not allowed to chew gum either (I'm not joking).
If you do come then remember that the ground is very near to the station (East station) and the town so a good day out can be had.
